A Peculiar Walk on Water
Sometimes, I wonder why I stayed in school.
Not that I am the type to drop out mind you, just… I found myself questioning the reason why I bothered to do more than finish that one English credit I needed during my senior year of high school. I knew I would be on my own for college, and at one time considered doing what my mother did before graduating from high school and going straight into the work force: finish my classes early, and start working a part-time job with my unused school day. It was a practical idea, and would get me something I lacked: real-world experience.

I hereby declare a challenge for all who think themselves literarily proficient (writers included)! Our goal is to see what unique stories come out only using any given word once!
RULES: No reusing words more than one time throughout whatever gets written down, including titles.
Variations on wording, like utilizing prefixes, suffixes, contractions, plurals, etcetera will be acceptable so long as they conform with previously stated stipulations.
Mind your articles and conjunctions, because those count too!
