Auf der Suche nach den Kristallcuwees
„Hui!“, rief Flair.
„Woohoo!“, meinte Fluffle.

„Oh man!

Cross-Dimensional Tricks and Treats (1)
The sweet aromas of sugar and butter flavor the air. High white ceilings and an almost inconveniently spacious hotel suite, tastefully decorated with modern furnishings in shades of black, white, and beige, make pointedly obvious the clashing neon and ultraviolet colors often used in the Halloween decorations currently placed throughout the room.
"Hurry—the party is starting soon," Zilpha croons. She flits around the fully stocked kitchen in a huge black wig and gravity-defying low-cut, slitted black dress that're instantly recognizable to anyone who's ever come across a late-night horror film.
The scents of baked goods clings to Zilp

The old tavern is packed to the rafters with patrons both human and humanlike, all mingling in the same space and enjoying Halloween night to the fullest with amazing drinks and food that, while not as amazing as the drinks, is still pretty good.
Aqila guides the four trick-or-treaters carefully through the dense crowd until they arrive at a relatively quiet corner beside her fully stocked bar.
"Those are some nice costumes," Aqila looks over the four trick-or-treaters. Her appraising eye not only sees the costumes for their quality and craftsmanship, but for how well they match their wearers. "They suit you all very well!"
"I helped daddy

The Man and the Manservant - Short Story
"You sent away my only friend because it made you jealous to see someone make me happy in ways you could not, but you have made no attempt to fill the empty space they left, to comfort me... This is not love. This is possession!"
Her words rung out repeatedly inside his mind. How they angered him. He had become so enraged by her indignant speech that he had stood up from the breakfast table, grabbed his coat and hat and walked right out the front door without another word. Had he stayed he surely would've said something terribly ungentlemanly, and that would've hardly been a suitable way for a man to behave toward a lady... much less the lad
Dad didn’t take rejection well, so he had a rough time coping when Mom walked out on him. It wasn’t an easy time for me either, but since I was fourteen at the time I can’t pretend like I didn’t see it coming. Mom had a hard enough time as it was raising me, but with Dad around she might as well have been raising another child. He was nearly impossible to live with because he felt compelled to immediately spend any amount of money he had, even though he knew we were on a tight budget.
The final straw was when he drained Mom’s savings account on what was supposed to be a pure bred Irish wolfhound that he

"Why are you crying?" he asked her, his voice gentle and full of concern.
She lifted her tear filled eyes. "Well, if you must know," she said quietly, her pitch wild and her voice shaky. "It is because you meant more to me than I did to you." She swallowed slowly and lowered her eyes again, readying herself "Although it was brief," she continued. "I cherished what I thought was your friendship. But then you told me that friendship cannot not exist between a man and a woman, and in as much as we were never lovers I must then conclude..." her voice trailed off as the pools in her eyes overflowed onto her cheeks. "... Then... I must conclude th

The Three Gardens - Short Story
Once there was a lovely green meadow, and it lay beneath a beautiful summer sky. Wildflowers grew in abundance, and speckled the countryside with many wonderful colors. Here, not too far apart from one another, were three cottages - each with their own lovely fenced in garden, all of which were upkept by the corresponding cottage resident.
The people who lived in these cottages were three retired elderly gentleman; Albert, Bill, and Wilbur. The men loved it in the meadow very much, and took great pleasure in tending to their own unique gardens. One day however, a fourth, somewhat unhappy man, came to rent a cabin in a nearby forest on vacati
